The season begins in May when the first bass arrive in the Sound followed closely by big schools of bluefish. The bottom fishing in May and June is excellent, too. The spring and early summer months provide us with great fishing just minutes from the dock. The offshore season hits full stride in July and August east of Chatham with continued great inshore fishing around Nantucket and the cold water rips off Monomoy. Late summer and early fall can be the best fishing of the year as game fish feed heavily in September and October before their migration south.
